Hurricane Fiona - Update

The hurricane has been upgraded to a class 3 hurricane.  Which means winds of up to 200km/h!

These are the last hours to get prepared and secure your stuff.  Make sure you have a 72-hour emergency kit. Food, water, and flashlights/lanterns.   Avoid candles and anything with open flames to use as a light source.

Stay away from the shore.  Do not go for a drive to watch the storm. Stay home. Stay safe.  Stay warm.

And as always, keep an eye on neighbours, friends and relatives.  If you have any elderly neighbours, keep an especially close eye on them.

Be safe everyone, and if you need help, reach out.

The EMO team can be reached by email or phone at any time.
