Message from the Rural Municipality of West River's Deputy Mayor
Words cannot begin to express the gratitude that the Council of the Rural Municipality of West River has for the residents of the municipality. You all showed up at the Pancake Breakfast Benefit on Saturday morning at Afton Hall to support one of our own, Amy Herring.
Amy suffered a huge loss after the fire on her property. In her time of need, the community came together to unselfishly and generously support her recovery efforts.
The message shown by the community is that we will stick together and help in whatever way we can. We care deeply and have each other's backs. This is what makes the Rural Municipality of West River such a wonderful place to live.
I personally am honoured to have the privilege to serve as the Deputy Mayor of this wonderful community full of amazing people.
I would like to send a huge thank you to all who organized and prepared the benefit pancake breakfast on Saturday morning. Also, a thank you to all who attended and made donations. You are all amazing neighbours. We are fortunate to live in a community like the Rural Municipality of West River.
WELL DONE!
